The City appreciated the work of the rescue workers

In the premises of the Historical Town Hall there was the New Year’s Reception of the Directors of the Police Corps and Fire Departments, Directors of emergency medical services, Regional Office of the Public Health (RÚVZ), Regional Veterinary and Food Administration. The invitation of the Mayor of the City of Košice, Jaroslav Polaček (independent) and the Vice Mayors Lucia Gurbáľová (KDH) and Marcel Gibóda (independent) was accepted by 8 Directors of these high level institutions who take care of the quiet sleep, good health and safety of the Košice citizens. The city management appreciated the work and results of all the participants. Košice holds several priorities in the rescue works. The Fire and Rescue Department in Košice administers the oldest fire station in Slovakia and the police are reviewing the largest police district in Slovakia.
