New transport services for immobile people

The Centre of Social Help of the City of Košice (CSHoK) at the Garbiarska Street has bought for the patients a specially adapted motor vehicle, Citroen Jumper equipped by electro – hydraulic platform with a fixing system for wheelchairs. The car with purchase price of 33 000 Eur is used for providing transport services for disabled people who need individual transport by personal cars. It is used also by the citizens with bad health condition and limited mobility in flat ground or steps and with limited orientation skills. Under the opinion of Mrs. Zdenka Sloviková, the director of CSHoK, - thanks to this new car, the safety and quality of the provided social services has been significantly increased. And it is highly appreciated also by the clients using them.
