On September 10-11, 2010, representatives of the city of Krosno, Poland, visited Košice. Mayor Piotr Przytocki, along with the Chairman of Krosno City Council, Stanislaw Slys, and the Vice-Director of Krosno Regional Center of Borderland Cultures, Ryszard Sudyka, were the guests of the 2010 Kosice Wine Festival. On September 11, 2010, Mayor of Košice, František Knapík, received the guests at the premises of the Historical Town Hall.
During the meeting, the representatives of Krosno expressed their interest in cultural cooperation through exchange of various artists and extended an invitation to Košice to perform at a reputable event “the Organ Days” in Krosno. They discussed the possibility of holding a presentation of the city of Košice in Krosno and vice versa. Mayor Knapík also talked about the possibility of cooperation within the European Capital of Culture 2013 project.
