The Košice citizens commemorated the 75th anniversary of liberation of their city

The Košice citizens have not forgotten these events and they commemorated in a traditional ceremonial act the 75th anniversary of liberation of their city. The act took place at the Liberation Square /Námestie osloboditeľov/. The city representatives, the officials of the Košice Self-government region, The District Office and the District Committee of the Antifascist Soldiers in Košice laid down wreaths and bunches of flowers at the two memorials. The mayors of the Košice city wards, the representatives of the state- and city-police were also present at the traditional ceremonial act.
