Civil Association K-art from Košice organized the 3rd International Plain Air for Visual Artists in our city on September 12- 17, 2009. Its goal was to enable the visual artists from nearby and more remote surroundings to become acquainted with the City of Košice and at the same time to introduce these artists to the inhabitants of Košice. 34 plain - artists from Slovakia, as well as from Hungary, Poland, Rumania and the Czech Republic displayed their talent and artworks in the streets of the metropolis of Eastern Slovakia. More than 100 new visual artworks related to Košice monumental centre were created during the Plain Air. As the part of the Plain Air the exhibition of the works from previous exhibitions took place in the premises of the Lower Gate on the Hlavna Street.
